WHATS WHELPOLOGY?

Whelpology is our founding program, built from the ground up by our founders who go out and do the footwork themselves to help the nonprofit get started. We are launching this initiative with what we have, to show that it’s not about how much income you start with, but about the impact you create and the future you build for the less fortunate. Whelpology provides direct support, outreach, and advocacy for families, individuals, and specific canine breeds in need, while setting an example of grassroots action and community-driven change.

Male Domestic Violence Awareness & Advocacy- A program dedicated to raising awareness about males in domestic violence relationships, giving men a voice and challenging the perception that they are always the aggressors. Whelpology advocates for fair treatment of men in domestic violence reports and investigations, working to end unjust arrests and incarceration based solely on accusations. We speak out to ensure law enforcement conducts thorough and unbiased investigations, recognizing that women can also be aggressors. Our goal is to reduce wrongful arrests and support men who are victims, promoting justice and equity in all domestic violence cases.

American Pit Bull Terrier Education & Protection- A online seminar program dedicated to protecting and educating the public about the American Pit Bull Terrier breed. Participants learn the true history of the breed, how misconceptions have led to unfair portrayals of aggression, and how these dogs are natural protectors of families and children when raised with love, understanding, and proper training. The program aims to bring educational awareness and promote responsible ownership.

Female Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support Program- Start up program dedicated to supporting female victims of domestic violence, especially those manipulated, abused, or targeted by DCF due to multiple DV incidents or police reports. We advocate for women with DCF cases opened as a result of DV calls, offering alternative services such as safety plan submission, regular check-ins (in person or virtual) with record keeping, assistance with obtaining restraining orders, and help contacting legal aid in Lynn or any city in MA. This program addresses barriers faced by victims who lack access to technology or are isolated by their abusers. It AIMS to END MATERNAL AND VICTIM BLAMING THAT LEADS TO DCF filing "The Temporary Custody Hearing" also called a “TCH” or a “72-hour hearing". This is a hearing in court held soon after DCF files a care and protection petition asking to remove children from their parents and separating families and using important information to gain custody of children, leaving parents shattered; leading to Psychological and Emotional Trauma, Relapse ,Physical Health and Well-being, Impact on Parental Role and Identity leaving societal damages on the family unit. Resulting in children being abused, neglected and mentally damaged from the governmental foster care ordered by the DCF and Probate system of MA.

FROSTY ME TILL DAWN- Frosty me till dawn is an annual program where Whelpology purchases Frosty Boo Books from Wendy’s and distributes them to low-income families with children. This initiative ensures that children and their families can enjoy free Junior Frosties and access very low-cost kids’ meals. With a minimum purchase of $1, families can get a kids’ meal for under $2, and the Frosty vouchers allow for free Junior Frosties with no purchase required. The program brings a little joy and relief to those who might otherwise miss out on these simple treats.
